Master carpenter Francesco Carullo has been elected CNA regional delegate for artistic and traditional handicrafts along with Pescara goldsmith Italo Lupo.
Technology in the service of the best artistic tradition. Francesco Carullo, an artisan from Orsogna, has been elected regional president of Cna Artistico e Tradizionale, the union within the artisan confederation that organizes the businesses with the highest rate of creativity. Carullo, who calls himself a “digital woodworker,” since he uses the most advanced digital techniques, such as “3D” printers, for his work, will lead a presidency also composed of former Cna Abruzzo regional president Italo Lupo (goldsmith) and Gianni Di Marco (leather and leather).
Among the goals of the new leadership team, in particular, the resumption with the region, of the discussion regarding the introduction of a regulation for the definition of the “master craftsman” qualification and related production specifications. This is complemented by an educational project spanning several fields (digital technologies, e-commerce, design).
