A layered laminate floor for the set design of the film 6 Underground
6 Underground directed by Michael Bay, distributed by Netflix and filmed in part in Rome at Cinecittà, saw the company involved in the creation of a designer flooring that appears in an eventful action scene.
The laminated laminate panels were made entirely at our company and were placed directly on the filming set a few weeks before filming began.
We used two different techniques: 9-tenthsinlay to insert the black-colored elements into the white 6-mm laminate panels and 1-mmetching to achieve the checkering.
The difficulty was to make panels that could withstand flooding-in fact, in one scene in the film the hallway is completely submerged by water.
